A family owned business since 1979, Dixie Electric, Inc. has grown to become one of the most recognized electrical contractors in the Tri-State area. Servicing homes, businesses and industrial customers in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, our goal has always been to provide our customers with the best possible service, highest quality materials and capable, competent technicians that carry out their jobs in an efficient and economical manner. Our reputation is based on a high degree of professionalism in both our office and on the job.

Dixie Electric’s customer base has grown over the years to include Residential, Commercial and Industrial clients. We are able to assist our customers with new construction, renovation and service work. Besides homeowners, our customers include property management companies, government agencies, schools, warehouse facilities, quarries and industrial facilities. We are able to provide underground electrical installations including parking lot lighting and lighting for school sports fields. Dixie Electric holds numerous state, county and local licenses and is bondable up to $1,000,000 per individual project.

We pride ourselves on our ability to service our many customers in a timely manner – offering both scheduled contract work and 24 Hour Emergency Service. Our friendly staff is available from 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM to take your calls. After normal hours, we have a live answering service that will forward your emergency calls to one of our on-call technicians.
